GT 1020: Heavy Equipment
The compact and versatile GT 1020 is designed to track assets for the demanding heavy equipment and construction markets. As part of a comprehensive solution that can include cellular connectivity 4G LTE cellular (with 3G/2G fallback), sensors and a cloud application, the GT 1020 enables remote monitoring of fixed, portable, and mobile assets. It delivers actionable data to ensure complete visibility of operations and enable informed business planning.
The GT 1020 features integrated GPS and cellular antennas for discrete installation, offers optional Bluetooth and CANbus capability, along with a battery backup that lasts up to eight months when disconnected from power.
The GT 1020 is available as a turnkey solution with ORBCOMM’s FleetEdge heavy equipment fleet management application and multi-network connectivity. APIs are available to facilitate integration into proprietary or third-party applications.
1. Feature Rich
The GT 1020 features optional Bluetooth support for wireless sensors and updates plus a built-in accelerometer. An optional CANbus interface enables advanced vehicle reporting, analytics and diagnostics.
2. Quick and Discrete Installation
Integrated cellular and GPS antennas and mounting options with VHB tape or screws make the GT 1020 quick and easy to install and remove. Its small size supports covert installations to deter theft and tampering.
3. Built to Withstand Extreme Conditions
The ruggedized GT 1020 is designed to operate under extreme environmental conditions, with resistance to dust, water, shock and vibration to ensure uninterrupted connectivity with field assets regardless of external factors.
4. Long Lasting Battery Backup
Backup battery enables reporting for up to eight months (depending on reporting frequency) without external power.
5. Flexible and Versatile
