ORBCOMM’s plan is to transform its current office into its Regional Headquarters. The company is a global leader and innovator in the industrial IoT supporting the transformation of industry through digitization and automation, an asset that will align with all of the innovation taking place in Boca Raton.
The BDB assisted ORBCOMM’s expansion by connecting it with multiple incentive programs through the State of Florida, Palm Beach County, and the City of Boca Raton, which resulted in a total of $192,000 in incentives. The BDB also provided workforce data and insight of Palm Beach County’s labor force in the information technology sector.
